About this Test

The Essential Test covers more than 150 items from Basic Food Panels and the top 10 allergens including:

  • Inhalants such as house dust mite

  • Common fruits and vegetables

  • Dairy products including cow’s milk, cheese, yogurt and eggs

  • Various types of nuts including peanuts, almonds and cashews

  • Grains including wheat and soybeans

  • Meats and fish including prawns, salmon, tuna, beef and chicken

  • Tea, cocoa, pepper, garlic, yeast and more

How to Prepare for the Test

Home Test Kit:

Please ensure your finger prick blood sample is taken at least 2 hours after any food or drink intake (except water). If you are taking any prescription medication, please take your finger prick blood sample at least 3 hours after consuming your medication. 

Clinic Visit:

Please ensure that you refrain from any food or drink (except water) at least 2 hours before your appointment time. If you are on any prescription medication, your appointment at the Clinic should be at least 3 hours after having  consumed your medication.
